Thanks for that Ian, I'm sure Paul would be thrilled with the idea of a wrenched back...! If I could get in your B&B it would be great but I'd feel like 'Gilly-no-mates' in one on my tod, breaky on my own etc. - much rather be with you lot. Next time, hopefully. Have a great one all of you Corner sweet but corner safe....

Just about to go and pack, bike sorted with a new back tyre. Weather is looking good for north of the border, let's hope the forecast is correct. Sorry you couldn't make this one Jill. Anyway, see you all in the morning 10.30 at the Rooster

I recognise that Cafe with the blue windows. Did you go on the road that is back up the hill and then off to the right? Roy, Phil Dawes and Paul O took us over there when we stayed at Calander last year, boy what a road !!! |

Thanks everyone for a great weekend. It couldn't have been better. Richard thanks for a great job leading over such spectacular routes. What a great introduction to ride-out ride outs ! I had a nice run down the A68 from Edinburgh after I left you all, then rode home yesterday afternoon. I've been playing with some photo panorama software, and I'm going to try to attach the results ...

What excellent photos - especially the one of a loch with perfect reflections. Glad the weather was so good for you - it makes such a big difference when you can see the scenery!! John & I had a run on Sunday to Ingleton, Hawes, Mallerstang to Kirkby Stephen (passed an incident where the Air Ambulance and Police were in attendance with a group of bikers but couldn't see any accident damage, so don't know what it was all about)- along the race-track to Tebay and down to Kendal via Grayrigg. Excellent weather for us also. Corner sweet but corner safe....
