Food for thought chaps, best to miss Morocco during Ramadan ie 1st-30th Sept or 21st-19th Sept depending on the moon cycles.
April/May is the best time as avoiding the summer heat and the country is very green during this period, also the days are a lot longer at this time compared to later in the year...

Hi guys, Im watching this postin with real interest, maybe not into Morroco as Ive a GSX1400, can't c me off road with it, but would like to come to Southern Spain and wave you off at the port and see you back, I can sit in the sun or ride the coast. Yes sorry for not posting but 2010 it is, May is fine for me.
On how we get there, I know a boat trip is not to everyone's liking but it does save that motorway slog through France. We will have a two day hike through Spain to get to the south so my prefs are for a break and go on the boat.
You get more juice into a BIG orange, or you can try some not so 'quick Silver' for a change

If u were to go by road through France there and back that 1600miles at an aprox cost of £200 fuel the ferry is £299 each in a two shared cabin. The trip both ways in Spain is another 1400miles, before your've get to Morrocco, so tyres and back sides a little worn, the ferry is the option, check your days out and back you may have to do Plymouth out,and Portsmouth back.
