Honda and Yamaha look keen to capture the middleweight adventure motorcycle segment with new/upgraded bikes for 2008. Honda with the upgraded Transalp and Yamaha with the all new XT660Z Tenere... Do like the look of the new Yamaha!...

Dito Paul, My old @ still looks good after all these years, WHAT IS HONDA UP TO with this, it looks UUUURRRRR The only gripe I have with the Yamaha is all that plastic, drop this bike and you are in for a big bill. If you fitted Clive's Postman Pat rack (or similar) then this bike might be a good un. You get more juice into a BIG orange, or you can try some not so 'quick Silver' for a change

Dunno Richard - those grey plastics on the Yam look like they are meant to be ground proof. The Honda looks like they mated a Deauville with a V-strom. But the way trailies seem to be going (like the new Tiger) they probably think that's a good thing .... |

The Honda looks like a rough road tourer whereas the Yamaha looks like it will go anywhere. |
